ABOUT BASHKIR STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, RUSSIA
Located in UFA BASHKORTOSTAN, RUSSIA founded in 1909, is a classical university of Russia, established in 1935. Bashkir State University is a center for postgraduate studies that provides postgraduate courses in 56 scientific majors and doctoral courses in 8 scientific majors. There are 10 doctoral and 3 candidate dissertation councils that are responsible for defense and awarding academic degrees in 23 majors. Bashkir State Medical University is one of the top Universities in Russia to study medicine. It is considered to be the center of medical and pharmaceutical science of the Bashkortostan Republic. There is an accommodation of 2000 students in the 5 hostels. Two or three students can share one room. The students are provided with proper bedding and hostel rooms are fully furnished and centrally heated (like air-conditioned). Separate rooms are allotted to boys and girls. Also, there is internet facility provided by the University. All the hostels are secured by the police security.
BSMU has a perfect surroundings for studies as well as leisure. There is an Extra Curricular Department which includes soccer, volleyball, basketball, power lifting, chess, and mountain climbing classes. There is a summer sport camp which is located on the picturesque bank of the Belaya River. Both the staff and the students have the opportunity to spend their summer vacations there. In summer camp, there are boat trips, playgrounds, and saunas.

Eligibility Criteria FOR TAKING ADMISSION IN BASHKIR STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY:
- THE AGE OF THE APPLICANT MUST BE BETWEEN 17 AND 30 YEARS.
- STUDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THEIR 12TH STANDARD OR ANY EQUIVALENT EDUCATION WITH MINIMUM 60% AGGREGATE MARKS.
- STUDENTS MUST HAVE OPTED FOR PHYSICS, BIOLOGY, AND CHEMISTRY AS THE MAIN SUBJECTS AT THE 10+2 LEVEL.
- THE STUDENT MUST HAVE PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
- STUDENTS MUST HAVE A NEW TOEFL SCORE OF NOT LESS THAN 80 POINTS OR IELTS SCORE OF NOT LESS THAN 5.5 OR MUST HAVE THE RELEVANT EVIDENCE WHICH ENGLISH IS THE LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION DURING THE UNIVERSITY.
- THOSE APPLICANTS WHO ARE FROM COUNTRIES WHERE ENGLISH IS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE ARE EXEMPTED FROM THIS REQUIREMENT.
