ABOUT ANWER KHAN MODERN MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL:
Reaching health care to every citizen is a millennium development goal and Bangladesh has achieved great success in this. The present government has developed the healthcare system from union Parishad to Upazilla, District, Divisional level through community health clinic, Upazilla health complex, District & Divisional Hospital, and Medical College Hospital both government & private. Doctors and supporting health care professionals like nurses, Paramedics, auxiliary staff, Technologists are the backbone of the health care delivery system. At present, the doctor population ratio in Bangladesh is only 1:3125.
Till now the available seats in medical colleges, public & private sector together is far short of meeting the requirement of the country. In our country, a large number of students are willing to take part in the health care system, which is evidenced by a large number of applicants for admission tests in medical colleges.

Application Form for admission into medical colleges in Bangladesh available in Month of August September:
- Must have passed qualifying examinations (HSC/ ‘A’ level) or equivalent examination.
- Class 10 (X) or SSC/ ‘O’ or equivalent examination passed
- Class 12 [XII (10+2)] or HSC/ ‘A’ or equivalent examination passed no
- Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent: 7.00 (eight)
- GPA either in SSC or equivalent or in HSC or equivalent: 3.5
- Minimum GP in biology: 3.5
- For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in SSC/ ‘O’ level or equivalent exam, only the top 5 subjects are considered for calculation of GPA. Therefore, GPA in ‘O’ level = (total marks obtained in the top five subjects): 5
- For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in HSC/ ‘A’ level or equivalent exam, only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) are considered for calculation of GPA.
- Qualifying Grade in each subject individually is “C”. Therefore, GPA in ‘A’ level = (total marks obtained in three subjects) : 3
- Year of passing 12th Not More than two years gap. (That is if you apply for the 2020 session, you must pass class XII Std – 2018 or after)
